You Must Have A Return Ticket To Enter The Philippines

By admin On November 21, 2011 Under Call Center Philippines

when you are coming into the Philippines from another country most airlines will ask you to show your return ticket or a ticket that you are going to be leaving the country at some time. A while back I went to Japan to invest money in computers that did not work out but anyways. I was heading back to the Philippines from Narita and when I was checking in the lady said can I see your return ticket to the US and I said I don’t have one so she said you have to have a return ticket to enter the Philippines and I said so what you want me to buy a return ticket back to the US and she said you have to if you want to get on this flight. So I then had to go to the ticketing office in the airport and buy a ticket leaving the Philippines, I just got the cheapest option I could which was at ticket to Hong Kong still was not cheap like 400 dollars because it was over priced. When I got back to the Philippines I just got a refund on the ticket like a week later.

So you always want to make sure that you bring your return ticket with you if you are ever planing on leaving the Philippines.

If you have no plans on leaving the Philippines in allot of cases when you have entered the Philippines you can just take your return ticket to the airline that you got it and get a refund on it which will not be the full amount but will put some extra money in your pocket. The Philippines immigration is so third world they really have no way of tracking you down or have no plans on people just staying there on a tourist visa. I lived in the Philippines for about 4 years on just a tourist visa, renewing every money or even one time I did not renew it for about a year and just found some one to help me get it renewed under the table for about 200 dollars. I’m not suggesting that you do this but it is possible, I have heard of some people not renewing there passports for some thing like 3 years and they are still in the Philippines.

It took me a while but I got set up with a 13-A visa which is a married to a Filipina which costed some like 700 dollars but was worth all the hassle to get it done because I did not have to keep renewing my visa monthly and I was 100% legal. If you are married to a Filipina then get her to go down to immigration to ask them to find out how to get the 13-A visa for you and all the paper work. You have to go through a bunch of bull shit and it sucks really bad but again it will be worth it. When your in immigration your going to get hit up by allot of what we call fixers saying that they can set up the whole thing for you plus the skin color tax. “do not use them”
