Free Time And Attendance Software

I always love free software that I can use for my call center but even better I thought I would share it will everyone!!!!

Managing the employees time and attendance has always been a pain in the ass but we have always found was to fix it buy buying some type of software to and then all worked great but costed an arm and a leg.

I have been searching for a free program that I can use to track when the agents log in and log out from home but just kept coming to sites that offer the online service but you have to pay for it, allot of them reasonable but I wanted some thing open source or free.

I came across this site called Time Trex and open source company that proved the software that I was looking for that was free and then it turned out that they also had payroll added into it and again its free.

Now when it comes to open source yes it’s free but you have to take the time to set it up and figure out how every thing works, so it’s will take you some time to get it going but it will be worth it in the end. If you are like me not a super geek installing things on your web hosting is not the easiest thing to do, so I contacted my web guy and asked if he could install it on there and I would pay him to do it, I’m thinking it should only cost like 10 dollars because it should be easy for him but we will see.

I downloaded the free windows version of Time Trex on my computer, went through all the set up and got her going with no problems and got to look into the software and see how it worked and I gotta tell you it was pretty sweet and they also had 3 free videos that you can watch on how to set it up.

This software will do every thing from employees clocking in and out, setting scheduling, Payroll, time sheets, advanced reporting and many more things.

One of the things that I love best about this software is it will work prefect with the agents I have working from home and at the end of every pay period payroll will be done automatically.

If you want you can sign up with Time Trix for $29.99 a month for 10 employees and they will host the system for you and also give you support if you need it. Also they charge a one time fee of $99 dollars to set every thing up.
