Call Center Headsets Life Spans

One thing that I’m starting to under stand is that headsets of all types and kinds have a life span of any where from three to six month really no matter the cost unless you are buying some thing for six dollars.

I have tried headsets ranging from six dollars to one hundred dollars and all pretty much lasted around three to six months but here is the thing, I use my headset every day for both personal and business related. When you have agents working from home you are going to get the same thing, they are going to use them to watch videos on youtube and take or make phone calls for you.

Best to get some type of headset that is USB because the connection and sounds card is allot better and they should last longer and you should get a warranty with it, most being six months to a year.

I remember now looking back when we worked with a company that sold headsets in Manila a while ago and we kept taking them back for repairs over and over again and I thought that this was because they were selling a shitty product which it was not, it was just that we used them day time and night time over and over tell they would just give up.

So pretty much I guess just get ready to buy a new headset every 6 months unless you are super man.
